The Old Royal Naval College is close to Greenwich Pier, five minutes’ walk from the Cutty Sark Docklands Light Railway Station
and ten minutes walk from Greenwich main line station.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DAILY TOUR
The tour will explore the main history of the World Heritage Site
including; the Cutty Sark, the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich Park,
where you will have the opportunity to cross the Prime Meridian,
the Queens House, with a short introduction to the interior, and the
Royal Observatory. It will introduce you to the history of
Greenwich Palace (no longer standing) and the connection to Greenwich
of Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and architects such as Christopher Wren as
well as the importance of time and longitude.
